How to have the BEST at home pamper night!

Hello Friends!

I thought that I would share with you my pamper routine for when I spend nights just focusing on self-care. Usually these are nights when Kendall (the boyfriend) is at work and I can spend some good, quality time with myself! Side note: this usually includes some Law and Order: SVU or some Say Yes to the Dress! ☺

First thing First,

Hair, not everyone starts in the same place, for me, I hop in the shower and focus on my hair first on a full on pamper night. Currently, I am using the Whole Blends line from Garnier, and so far I have been loving it! I use the Coconut Oil and Cocoa Butter shampoo and conditioner. These are used to tame and control frizzy hair, which during this time of year I am in desperate need of! Also when going all out, I use the Whole Blends nourishing hair mask in Avocado Oil and Shea Butter. This makes your hair incredibly soft and silky! Post shower I use the Whole Blends leave-in conditioner that is the Coconut Oil and Cocoa Butter and I swear, that works miracles! You can put it in damp or dry hair, I’ve never had such good hair days when it is so humid outside!

NEXT STEP

I do is focus on washing and pampering the body. I start by shaving. I absolutely love using the Kiss My Face shaving lotion. Personally, I enjoy shaving lotion much more than foam or gel. It moisturizes while shaving and I find that much better, and for my lazy girls, it puts two steps in one! I shave my legs and underarms, and whatever else may need attention… ya’ feel? I then move on to washing my body. I have been using the Hello Beautiful shower gel with Shea and Vitamin E. Anything with Vitamin E is amazing for the skin. This particular one is from Bath and Body Works, most of the time I use shower gel from there because they always smell ah-mazing!

Third thing third? 

I then go in with my St. Ives Blemish Control Apricot Scrub. This stuff is pretty great, I recently started using it, but so far, so good! For starters, it’s oil-free which is great! As important as it is to moisturize your face, adding extra oil is not. I would only recommend using this a couple of times a week as it is fairly harsh. On regular days I use the Cetaphil Every-day cleanser, which is perfect for daily use, obviously! ☺

Post-Shower

After the shower, I like to put on a face mask. The one I have been using currently is the Dead Sea Minerals anti-stress clay mask. This is great, although be warned, it does turn you into a Smurf when it’s on! ☺ Once I wash the face mask off, I go in with my Garnier Micellar Water to remove the rest of the face mask and re-cleanse my face. I will then go in with some lavender scented Witch Hazel as a toner. Next, I use the Simple brand moisturizer, and instead of rubbing it in, I recently started patting it into the skin and find that it works much better! If I have any spots coming up, I take a Q-Tip and put some Tea Tree oil directly on the spot. It usually dries up the spot in the next night or two! It’s a perfect, natural remedy!

I will then usually go binge-watch something on TV, or cuddle up with a good book! I always enjoy the nights/days when I can fully pamper myself. Having a good self-care routine can help you be prepared to take on the world!
